Howl’s Moving Castle makes its way to BBC Radio 4

In the run-up to Christmas, on Sunday 12th December at 3pm, take your seat by the fireplace for the new radio version of Howl’s Moving Castle, the magical novel by Diana Wynne Jones, which I’ve adapted for BBC Radio 4. Produced by Bafflegab Productions and directed by Simon Barnard, this one hour drama tells the story of Sophie Hatter, a young woman with an old soul, who inveigles her way into a very peculiar mobile home.

Starring Julia McKenzie as Sophie, Iwan Rheon as Howl, Angus Imrie as Michael, Dan Starkey as Calcifer, and narrated by Robert Bathurst.
